I never contemplated suicide
before understanding
splitting infinity
in relation to the race of love
and not having
involuntary memory
in relation to
holding you in me
I never considered suicide
before understanding the
space time bend
does not work in
love’s favour
Now it is even more frightening
to understand the razor
will never
reach
my blue wrist artery
O love how cruelly
hast thou won
holding me till death
in your unreasonable embrace
An elegantly wrought poem. Fusing diverse literary tropes such as personal relationships with higher intellectual concerns again demonstrates the calibre of this Poet’s skill.
Thanks for faithfully responding every time Louis – 🙂
