Your wish is my command
My Lord!
Ask for what you really want
You are the captain
Master of your destiny
Give command
I reside in you
Like Siamese twin
Drive me the way you want
Ask for what you really want
Believe that it is yours
Receive with gratitude
I am your Genie,
And
Your wish is my command!
The poem reminds me of an excerpt from a classic fairy-tale. I wonder if the author has ever considered that such a poem might be accompanied by a picture or illustration of some kind ?. Together with ” I never walk alone ” and ” Myriad Facets ” ; this has proved to be an exciting introduction to our site ;welcome to Destiny Poets,Kusum Vig!!
Most certainly Louis, the poem is inspired by the story of Aladdin’s Lamp? It’s the perfect analogy for how your mind works. Your conscious mind is Aladdin, the decision maker, who chooses what to wish for – this is the part of your mind which works on logic. Your subconscious mind is the Genie, greater part of your mind that runs on autopilot and automatically accepts the data you feed it, or the wishes you ask of it. Quantum physicists and spiritualists suggest that our conscious/subconscious mind is directly connected to the super-conscious mind of the infinite. As you rightly suggested, accompanied by a picture or illustration would certainly add zing to the poem. Thanks so much!
