You had been my personal sun,
why did you turn into wind then
disappearing into thin air
that fateful autumn afternoon
when I waited for you with bated breath
I counted each clock tick as heartbeat
your promise still rings in my ears
that you would escort me till end
care for me till I shut my eyes
your light still lingers inside me
your image has not withered since
the essential endures time
