Wish of the Sleep deprived

I want to sleep,
To sleep for days and nights to come,
Some dull and little fulfilling too, some.
Sleep is my respite,
It was since my childhood days.
I just dozed off,
Whenever I didn’t like something,
Such was my simple, usual way.
Now I am grown,
With a family too.
Tired eyes and stone heavy lashes,
Wait for some deep sleep to come.
Where I can escape to my old dreamy world.
A sleep which makes me fresh.
A sleep with happy dreams.
A sleep full of contentment in heart.
It seems,
Such good sleep is a dream,
With ages to unfold,
Before it comes true.
