once whispered in heaven
……thoughts in mind left forsaken
from among the colorful skies
……a heart sent mourn and sighs
and through the shimmering light
……a shower of dimming twilight
hear the whispers of the wind
……onto the clouds in heaven they send
a message from a bottle upon the ocean
……tossed and played by waves motion
feeling a deep yearning and longing
……how soon shall it find the ending
in dreams to heaven, softly whispers
……let this soul ascend in prayers
to where the horizon meets the twilight
……the darkened shore would still be bright
and when the eyes be closed for a long sleep
……let the whispers be the loudest within the deep
in an acrylic painting by suzette portes san jose
This is a somewhat sombre and introspective work that nevertheless addresses deeper existential questions with a great deal of empathy.
hmmm… for real YES 🙂 as I am a silent person, I keep my fears and hopes within me…when no one listens I bring them along with my company of words and arts… my poetry is my world… thank you, dear admin Louis Kasatkin
A contemplative, insightful, and well-composed poem.
it is our deep hope in prayers…heaven waits and so shall we send… as when the time will come to set us free…whispers are being heard 🙂 thank you, dear VijayNair
