I wish to be a wanderer
Lost behind these pillars
From these arches
My soul watches
An awry worldly fair
Which I can only stare
If I don’t get up…..
Or don’t lift my head
Don’t bother at all, it’s
A complete submission
It is the perfect end
Of something I yearned
I wish my soul wander
Among these pillars
Of high rank, in peace
Let my body with ease
Leave my soul to roam
Under this divine dome
Singing praises for the most applauded
Peace be upon HIM for the most exalted

My humble thanks!
Lovers of God………always seeking and yearning for Him………..beautifully penned!
Truly said Anoucheka, one can get PEACE only in HIS remembrance and following a path leading to non-violence. We have been created by HIM and we have to go back to HIM. We are answerable to all our actions and intentions, in whatever conditions we are living. This is the only truth I know, rest comes after that.
Awesome poem revealing the strong need of detachment from the mundane.☺
The soul is the happiest when it is closer to the Divine. Great poem
Thanks Vatsala Radhakeesoon for the appreciation !
I am really humbled by your kind gesture.
