When time stands still, upon the world
Echoing valleys, the mountain’s birth
As time stands still, witness
Nature blessed beyond
The heart and eye doth see –
The sands of times rejoicing
How God gave this to me!
When time stands still, the eagles sore
High into the sky,
Stretching forth in noon day sun
Her warmth, everlasting glory.
Now time delights in shades of golden dusk,
Eagles winged, now rests
As time sleeps, now her best
Hushed and still ‘til dawn
When bathed in Grace of God
And Love.
