Jesus always had a long lasting influence
In my heart and hearing of his crucifixion,
I rushed to the place where Jesus stood still.
The boundless blue sky cried
Tears of sadness and lamentation
Without any consolation.
The scions of silence stretched far
Embracing the horizon which was restless
And wanted to flow towards Jesus’ feet.
His hands were bleeding, feet were bleeding
And the crown of thorns was so hurting.
‘Lord! Let me remove the thorny crown
And replace it with a golden one
Studded with stones precious.
Help me remove those nails,
I implore to you.’
I stood helpless, wiped Jesus’ feet
With my big handkerchief and placing
My head on his feet cried my heart out.
The hard hitting truth is that very few understand
The passion of Christ,
The fruitfulness of his mission.
With emotions stripped bare,
I looked up at Jesus and he smiled
As if nothing had happened
And he had forgiven the wrongdoers.
I said to him, loud and bold,
‘Jesus, you are eternal,
You will be alive in all men’s hearts
And we will walk on the path
You have paved for us.
This is our promise.’
And while I said these words,
Jesus’ blood blended with my tears.
