When

When God when will you be with us again?

This world full of hate, pain, wars and tears

it’s gone on too long it’s been years and years.

Fighting relatives for we are all connected

Jesus died for us, for us all he’s resurrected.

Why God why is the same stuff carrying on

I see the same characters now I’ve lived this long.

What God what did we really do it wrong?

Ask a child not to do something, it’s the next thing they get wrong.

So this is your plan, it’s not making that much sense

I guess you gave us all a choice, no sitting on the fence

We follow you, we hear your voice, you love us all but we have a choice

You only want us if we want you and you’re just waiting that’ll do

I choose you God with every breath. I don’t want to left.

You are God, I trust in you and that means I believe it’s true

You will do what you said you’ll do. You told us ahead so we see you.

When God when it’s up to you. I am here and I love and honour you.

About God’s Girl1

Hello I write about what I know and I just try to let the words flow from my heart and soul. I have one of those minds that never switches off and because my poems are pretty simple I find the process very therapeutic and releasing for my mind too.

The poem begins by ask probing questions on given conventions of scripture and ends in complete surrender to the divine will.
