She waited with unabated lashes,
Countless breaths poured into nothing.
The arrival of the imminent,
Happened never for Her.
The penned down letters,
Probably got washed away in pools of tears.
And the soiled paper was bundled off into bin.
But She waited,
Only to receive a telegram of final departure,
Placed near her epitaph.
