The Specimen

I am amused,

When I am used,

as a specimen,

for a spot check.

It was my turn today,

to be displayed,

They all came,

gave five comments,

and moved on to the next specimen.

Let the master mark their comments,

Value their intent,

While I watch, in silence,

sealed in, as

I am just a jarred specimen.
