out there…curtained by the mist
sights in grey blurry, yet exist
winds are cold freezing deep
losing the warmth one can keep
in a wide wilderness stood alone
a life that beats with a heart of stone
that awaits the dew drops of dawn
upon the velvety lips of a petal flown
breeze touching in drizzles kiss
behind the mist a soul to miss
still holding on a heavenly grace
with arms open for an embrace
the tree in a vision of shadows
with thoughts across the meadows
in shades of gray on mellow haze
bears a symphony of sight to gaze

An evocative and engaging work.
A lovely, sensitive, evocative, painterly poem.
