The last page

Strange that in the last page what results
Is the waking up to discover that things
Merely presents are in fact shaping lives, …
Only the missing link finds it difficult to work
The spaces that make you think again and again,
To entertain the ultimate hidden realities
To live in haunted by trivial conversations,
The inevitable dark face of time and tide
Voices utter words, the absence of meaning,
The eyes strive for sudden shift in fortune
Pushing pen tell you it’s not really for you,
A long and diverse trodden route for races
A path that can never be mine or yours
Life has been abandoned never intended.
