Winding up emotions,
Roller coaster ride.
To exist like a dead bay leaf,
Or to vanish like a dried dew drop?
Tough to find,
The quintessential side,
In the modern man’s life.
The sizzling momentary thunder,
Or the fizzled fire of heart.
The tossing of crunchy emotions,
Is what sets them apart.
Modern human, the inhuman being,
Baffled dead minds, is all I see.
O’Lord bless, this world thriving on strife.
