Shimmer on the face
Real feelings lost in the painted version
Of early adulthood .
They enact the dreams of us
Killing their childhood
In front of camera lights.
By choice arrive a few
For ambition of parents
To fulfill their childhood dreams
Most are forced.
Forced to don the false attire
To cry laugh and shuffle the inner fire.
Too tired yet performing
Thumping fatigued heart
Beating on beats of someone else.
Winner or losers
Their innocence gets sacrificed
At the altar of adult grown vanity.
