The Impact

Seething with desire,
Breathless breaths, deep and husky
Feverish with love or is it just lust?
Your eyes draw me out to all that is dusky.
The hidden smile on your lips,
The one that churns my heart out of rhythm,
Life blows out of my hand,
That was mine and in tandem.
As life last the last few breaths,
I glimpse the smile again bewildered.
