The Earth herself can say; why does she,
Like a faithful beloved, fall for the Sky?
Some distinctions of him, she believes,
Conspire to blossom the layers of hers
She regards the harvest on her skin
Owes to the rains the Sky bestows
And fills her veins to the fullest
Like the Ceres is under obligation to the Apollo

She, never bewildered, celebrates her both
Physical and spiritual connect with him
Regarding it the marriage divine; which is
An act of the Supreme Power Himself
Beyond any control of her and her Sky
