@ GEETHA RAVINDRAN
Open up to us
Lingering on to the forbearance
They plead
Counting on to the endurance
They trudge with their destiny
A call, an appeal
The mothers to feed their off springs
Tuckered in the anguish of
Unforeseen nemesis
Their homes were their world..
In and around their lives whirled…
The coercion when smudged into
Their land, their soil
Here they are
Being chased
Drowned into the foul mess
Keep trudging on and on
With their arms of appeal spread
Drenched in hunger, a slinky bulge
Approaching
Sunken in thirst, a skinny kid
Urging for alms
They wait for you,
For a meager bit of bread
Unkempt, to hide their shame
Do arise, country men
Throw away
The annihilating rivalry
The Itching burns on humanity
Open those shut doors
Crush those barricades
Let them enter into the domains
Of their right for livelihood.
Poetry is the eye that looks around . Good piece of writing
