Fears unleashed

Till now we just heard and read,
but now we feel and our hearts bled.
The tremors we had just discussed ,
in a geography class.
Came true,truly demonstrative
with shaking glass vase.
The temblor shocked and shook all deep within.
While we mourn the less fortunate ,
lost in tragedy and its din.
When I lie down at night,
I fear for life and sanity..
and next day I contribute in plenty,in charity.
I never feared for my life, yet I fear.
I fear for the loss of near and dear.
