Season’s Treason

Time kept wheeling and wheeling,
In its jolt, we are rocking and reeling,
Winter passed and returned so soon,
Saw thousand eclipses of sun and moon.

Beginning, then ending, in unending spiral,
In apocalyptic maze fighting for survival,
Who’s furiously pushing pedals of seasons?
Only forcing to encounter season’s treason,

Scent of youthful spring faded and lost,
Wintery nights returned to haunt so fast,
Like autumnal leaves, good times dried,
Summer roasted the heart from every side,

Looming shadows of expectations,
Infatuation was overcome by frustration,
Emotions have gone out of commission,
Ashes of love flew in to hazy oblivion.

Seasons no longer exite and enthrall,
Ever fleeting time has started to crawl,
Joyful feelings peeled off like paint chips,
Loneliness lashing with thousand whips.
