When things go wrong in the course of life
Or procrastination manifests
One often blames circumstances
Albeit not true as fault lies with self
This mind is the cause of all betrayal
Yes, you my mind Et tu brute, you fail
Infidel mind! it’s high time you learned
Thought you my part or at least a friend
How could you betray me, so callous
I thought I would soon achieve my berth
And march from here with my collar up
But for you, vagabond imminent
Oh brute, it seems futile in this span
You, worse than Brutus betraying Caesar!

A frank, allusive, confessional poem on the betrayal from within–the mind ! Lovely !
Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation as always, Vijay ji! 🙂
In fact it is mind that dissolve our each action. Sincerely penned and well crafted. Thanks for sharing.
