O Mother Nature

O Nature, benevolent mother,
All encompassing, omniscient,
Lack words to praise and thank enough
You bestow precious love bouquets
Lavishly on each soul on earth
Rainbow of hues in varied guises
Packed in baskets of verdant shrubs
Sprinkled with perfumed roses, lilies
Luscious fruits to keep man healthy
Cool breeze to ease hard life tensions
Gurgling brooks adorning mountains
Peace loving birds as wise minstrels
Inspiring from dawn to nightfall
Sun’s gold life blanket at day time
Moon’s silver, diamond stars at night
Waves humming endless in sea
Fish and dolphins playing in corals
Brown deer fleeing far from predators
Beauty of long necked Giraffes,
Butterflies, black white striped zebras,
An array of fauna flora
How rich and fortunate feels man
In your company as best friend
Obliged to you Mother Nature
Do not abandon us ever
