You listen to all my whisperings,
you know what lies in my heart;
Your gazes follow my breaths,
only you can foretell my untold parts.
Come, O Mariner! Sail my unsailable life,
pave the ways for warm sun and brisk wind;
O Aurous! Come, don’t test my patience,
never mind, if they can’t see your bling.
You don’t deserve a malicious end,
for me your arrival is a morning breeze;
Drop in some day to see my joy,
come before brimming desires freeze.
O Jolly! Will you listen to my forlorn stories?
How did I spend my silken nights without you?
O Zeal! I know you’ll join me one day,
you’re within my reach, I’m within you.

Reminds me of The ancient mariner in the poem The Rime of an Ancient Mariner but such a positive energy imbued to the mariner as the muse.
Many thanks dear Nalini Shrivastava ji. Here, I have tried to draw analogy between a Mariner and a Belover. For a lover his Belover is a Mariner of his ship called life.
Thanks for your interest.
A fine exemplar of this author’s poetic metier; an exquisitely crafted work.
My humble gratitude dear Loius Kasatkin for your words.

A beautiful love poem, marked by zest and earnestness.
The palpable desire and the poetic waiting… great work
