Moon Shine

We dance in shadows
Of moonbeams and memories
Swirling and swaying
Molded as one

Sighs and whispers
Echoes of a song
Words drift away
Clouds on a breeze

Under this silver veil
Fooled by the half-light
Shimmering, swimming
Can we trust how we feel?

A kaleidoscope image
Symmetrical, sensual
Constantly changing
Your colors tonight

About Suzanne Parlee

I have been writing poetry since I was a little girl. Now an adult I find such comfort in words, in books, and the written word in general. I am from New Brunswick, Canada, a province surrounded by The Bay Of Fundy, and The Saint John River, only one hour's drive from the Maine/USA border. Beautiful province!

My Dr.Livingston-esque journey through the deep undergrowth and out of the way by-ways of our authors’archive/directory has yielded up this gem. ” Moon shine ” is a sparkling ,refreshing sip of the surreal, mystical and enchanting.Best savoured at the end of the day.A really great re-discovery!
