Life is not over yet

Seconds turned into minutes and hours
Life dripped drop by drop from its shell
Invisible Tears doled out in plenty
Drying before dropping in vacuum.
Smiles adorned the plastic etched mannequin face
Heart gnawing with hunger for touch.
Grey hairs and deep lines on face
Tell the story of her patience.
All said and told, she says,
Life is not over yet.
