Just like me

When you said you are thirsty,

I gave water to you.

You drank and smiled at me.

But when the river told me

She is thirsty, I laughed…………

How to quench the thirst

Of a river where water goes

Cascading down?

Little did I think

That the river

Was thirsty for love

Just like me.
