It’s My Birthday

Its my day
Its my birthday
I was born….
to my mom
it was Fun Day,
Solomon Sunday
born on Monday?
I was born on Fun Day….
born to smile,
born to laugh
born to harness
all troubles and torts
Yes I was born….
born to fly
and rise high in the sky
don’t ask me why
but I was born….
born to think,
and feel the pain
of void and darkness
to light again,
and teach how to love
in the journey to grave
I was born….
to infuse confidence
and define respect,
muster courage
to battle the rest,
peace and harmony
at my behest
I was born….
to dispel darkness
and brighten lives
to my ability
wipe teary eyes
I was born….
please understand,
my passion and mission,
don’t trample me
with burdens of profession,
I was born….
they say to me,
I need ‘Me Time’
to them I say
I am Fun Time,
I bring happiness
I hold hands
I fight away evil
I have a magic wand
I am a Girl
I was born….

It has become an achievement for a female foetus even to be born in many places . This is the sad reality of gender discrimination in our times . If it’s really your birthday , by the way, Happy Birthday !
