It will be yours,they said

It will be yours,they said,
Just try harder, whatever you desire.
So, I zeroed in on You,
As You are one,I firmly admire.
I fell for you,the first sight I laid upon You,
My senses were lost forever,
I craved and hungrily craved for you,
So,getting you was my earnest endeavor.
I worked hard on myself,
as I worked to impress you and all around you.
Rest was something,I could not afford.
Opportunities were rare and meager.
Silently and not so silently I work to draw attention,
Eager to end up in your embrace once or forever
