I Want To Swirl….

written for my would be Daughter In Law and Son’s First Dance 💕

I want to swirl in my gown
long satin flowing
twirling around his finger
on the dance floor
lilting song rising and falling
me in his arms
he drowning in my eyes
Spirits flowing, guests glowing
arms around waist and fingers entwined
stillettos clicking and shoes tapping
fragrance of love
and charming beauty….
passion in air, glamorous pairs
dance floor reflecting
love in the air
blushing cheeks and dreamy eyes
rounds of kisses and bosom hugs
heavenly bonds, exchanging vows
Diamond flashing on my finger long
my hand on his shoulder wide and strong
me twirling around him
his perfume all over me
we lilting to the music
and drenched in love…..
I want to swirl in my gown
long satin flowing
twirling around his finger
on the dance floor….

This poem is beautiful in terms of its imagery and the gesture of wishing a young couple. With “love in the air “,
here’s wishing them the very best in life.
