Harmonious Autumn

Autumn, the season of mellow fruitfulness,

With the golden hue emitting a golden brilliance,

The leaves turning into colours of flowers, so vibrant,

Dancing in sheer beauty, so luxuriant.

Autumn can be described as a second spring glorious

A combination of all seasons harmonious.

Every leaf, every flapping is a bliss

Displaying the season’s smile loveliest

Indeed, life and nature seem to be in harmony

With lustre in the sky

Making cares of humans drop away

As the winds blow with their freshness, all cares away.

Autumn plays her part on the world’s stage artfully

With the cascading of leaves in her last beauty

As if she had saved up throughout the year, purposely,

For a dramatic exit, outstandingly.

Thus, the autumnal golden sunset

Of scarlet, saffron and russet,

Romantically bids goodbyes,

Under the harvest skies.
