Just being free, or setting free too?
I wonder if being alone is being independent.
Not being at beck and call,
Have all the time to one self,
Tugging at the starched crispy wires
Setting tune to the beats of heart.
Earning in grands and grands,
Losing the precious black strands,
The lush wavy tresses
Rotting away in labour.
A peg of wine,
Liberty to choose where to dine,
Dancing away the night,
Raised voices to show the might.
The young and the haughty,
Not so innocent but so naughty,
If this is freedom to theeā€¦
I guess I am glad not being young.
But proud being dependent, loving Me.
