Do not be a mere spectator

Don’t be a mere passerby,
ring the bell,raise alarm,
shout and tell.
Make your presence felt
to the invader of innocence
Eliminate assault,
get in the way
object,mediate and have your say.
It will not be tolerated.
Knock on the door,
or knock them off their senses.
Take charge or gather crowd.
even if you are alone,
every voice and helping hand matters.
Do not tolerate violation of chastity
Take a stand
Do the right thing
Be a proud and humane human being.

” Do not be a mere spectator ” , is a timely and apposite poetic cry from the heart. It is ever the duty Poets in particular to try and articulate a response to events and circumstances as they arise in the world and affect the lives of ordinary people. This is one such commendable response .
