In the shade, in the light
Felt a figure circling me ever
With all my senses together, I
Decided one day to meet her
After a series of coaxing, cajoling
For her precious time, she agreed
I was facing her, at last……
A place, time of her choice
My mood, my condition of her choice
In a commanding tone she started…..
“Look! Stop chasing me, this way
I am yours, will find ways for
Meeting you, all through your life,
On your death, I will depart,
Remember this! I’m your destiny.”

About Nikhat Bano

I am an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) Instructor by profession. I love to write romantic and spiritual poems and I find a great sense of relief after penning down my thoughts on paper. It has now become a passion for me and will continue as long as I live.
