Books of Life

Books of Life

In infinite libraries
on endless rows of shelving,
innumerable tomes
stand in serried ranks,
Books of Life;
Every book
ordered in chapters
chapters ordered by page
pages ordered in paragraphs
paragraphs ordered in sentences,

there we find ourselves
in that Book of Life,
in the middle of a long sentence.

    While books are windows to others’ lives ; they are mirrors to ourselves. Interesting perspective penned beautifully!
