Goodbye Fake Love

Your attempts to fool me
with melting marshmallow-words
Your attempts to drag me
in labyrinths of lust
Your pretending to build
protective cozy castles for me
To all those lies and selfish acts of yours
Now I bid goodbye for good

Your love was not genuine
but merely suffocation, possessiveness,
metaphorical murder of spontaneous emotions
Now I’ve recognized the pure breeze

I’ve met my mind,
the philosopher of lofty thoughts
I know my heartbeats,
the dignity of morality
I’m deeply connected to the soul,
the song of divine poetic mission

So, now I’ve found my true love,
the essence of life
Goodbye Fake Love!

Divine Song

Divine Song

The soul of the universe vibrates,
Planet Earth opens its third eye,
The learned Acharya
with a meditative look
detached from illusion
with cleansed heart
sings the message of God

A song of unity
A song of morality
A song of Equality
A song for humanity
pulsates in dawn’s wisdom

Convincingly the melodious voice
up till the morning breeze blissfully
“ God wants all children
to be merry,
to hold hands in harmony,
to live lives where
thoughts, words and actions shine
like a million golden lotuses
bearing the un-flickering light
of permanent egoless purity.”

The Lord and I

Blue, white , orange
is the sky
Dawn is my pleasant

On his divine guitar
rest my ears, my eyes,
my smile

The Lord is the musician
so perfect, so elegant
He imbibes in me
songs of kindness
songs of forgiveness
songs of calmness

Amidst all storms
He restores my equilibrium,
blesses my cradle of creativity
with the power of longevity

Thus, keeps turning
the wheel of my life
without any fright
throughout all days
and nights

I relish the golden lyrics
that the Lord writes
with sunrays ink
and I can feel my life
flowing peacefully
cuddled within the
angelic wings of positivity.

I Let You Go

Each of my songs
sung under the sun
of the magical guitar
has the imprints
of your love

Oh, I did love you
May be I still do
We’ve met in this life
and as a twin flame
I’ve recognized you

But since you have
some karmic debts
towards your own
your own kin,
the Lord has entrusted me
the most painful duty
the toughest task
– to let you go

With invisible tears
in my artistic heart
and an Amazonian smile
on my determined face
I let you go

My logic rarely fails
My intuition often wins
So in this life once again
I let you fly, dive
to your daily duties
to some unfulfilled
past lives’ karmas

Please complete
the practical circle
Leave no blanks
Skip no question marks

And once many cycles
of seasons for eons
are complete
then again, the Lord
himself will guide us
and with all his blessings
joyfully he’ll unite us.

The French Singer

The French Singer

for my musician and poet friend, Manuel

Heart and soul captivated
by The Beatles
Sparkling eyes expressing
thirst for knowledge
The French singer
and his faithful companion
Mademoiselle Guitare
rushed out of the boat-shaped
bookshop amidst Sailors’ town

Classic blue, classic white
cover of The Oxford English dictionary
cover of English – French , French –English
Larousse Dictionary
glazed in his artistic hands

Petit à petit
he learnt English
from hardcover masters
and a great teacher

Et finalement , he could understand
each word, each line, whole lyrics
that governed the four boys’ world
and blessed a new trend of Music

Nowadays, whenever he feels nostalgic
he retreats in his solitary refuge
away from all-hectic
He sings The Beatles’ songs
in fluent English
and writes his own original ones
in perfect English.

Adolescence Days

Adolescence Days

Lovely were those adolescence days
when Pop Music secretly
captured my soul

Roch Voisine, the handsome
Greek god-like singer
with a serious look
and soft voice
was topping the music charts
with his song Hélène,
My heart melted by
all his sweet ballads

Jason Donovan with his
charming smile and
carefree youth’s looks
made me feel like dancing
to the rhythm of his songs,
My emotions shone
with enthusiasm

Melody, the teenage singer
with her song,
‘Y’a Pas que les Grands qui Rêvent’
shared my well-cherished
girlish dreams,
I felt like
I’ve really grown up

Top 50, Top Secret, Podium
and Smash Hits sparkled
in my leisure time ,
I also listen to the songs
and wrote down the lyrics
in my fancy, decorated copybooks,

Beside each song’s lyrics,
I highlighted the name
of the talented singers
with fluorescent pens
and stuck photos of them
elegantly cut from my
favourite showbiz magazines

Oh, how I really enjoyed
those moments!
It was only
Music and I,
Music comforted me,
Music gave me strength,
I was ready to face
the bumps and bounces
of real adolescence.

Musical Notes

The beads of musical notes
tied together
by her favourite
Greek God-like singer
were for the hectic world
merely a song
some entertainment
some joys
some pains

but for her,
her dreams
her aims
her ambitions
the light
guiding her life

Musical notes
were transforming
her thoughts
her heart
her deeper soul
awakening her inner strength

Through the power of Music
she learnt
to break the shackles
let go of inhibitions
maintain her own voice,
so truly herself.

My Little Niece

Eyes hooked on the T.V screen,
Promptly, she becomes part
of Princess Sofia’s
and Frozen’s dreams

Even in her real childhood’s life,
my little niece loves to be like
her girlish idols
of popular animated cartoons

Her silky dresses,
Her fancy shiny shoes,
Her fashionable watch,
Her delicate hair bands
and her little bag
– all bear the brands
‘Sofia’ or ‘Frozen’

Chin held up high,
she walks like a princess
in her castle and garden,
Her confident smile says
that she’s witty
and intelligent enough
to be the leader
of the children’s world
and she aspires to be
the winner in her own way.

My Muse

O my muse, my sweet muse!
Early morning,
in the gentle breeze of Rose-Hill,
I often feel you on my windowsill.

To you my pains and joys I daily reveal,
Because I know for me you deeply feel.

We fly together to Corps De Garde mountain,
Our laughter echoing, emotions unchained.
On a luminous rainbow we always sit,
Thousands of lamps are elegantly lit.

You take me to Mother Sparrow
who on my palm whispers, “No sorrow.”
The flowers I caress,
To my pets I say, “No regrets.”

With you back in my room,
I meet No Longer Gloom.

Like a halo around my head
you smile
and I write,
I run a thousand miles.

My Only True Friend

My Only True Friend

So hectic is mundane life;
Human beings can barely enjoy time.

To no human heart I’m now attached,
Fragile expectations have long ago been smashed.

OM, OM,  OM* ’ in my mind his name rhymes,
 Senses , soul connect to the Omniscient Divine;
My anger, fears, torments He deeply understands,
His  justice, love, strength aren’t like
slippery grains of sand.

I feel for me He’s always there,
Whatever He does He’s always fair,
He’s my only true friend –the
whom in my life flawlessly,
constantly shines.
