About Kuchibhotla Sarada

A passion for writing for I strongly believe writing brings in...the desired change..within and without.

A story

There’s a story
Behind everything
Everything that you see
Everything that you feel
Or felt
Behind the pictures
In the album
Behind the pictures
On the wall…

There’s a story
Behind everything
How a scar
Got on your face
Or how you got bruised
Inside ….

There’s a story
Behind everything
Some are simple
Some are hard
And heartbreaking …
Some are told
Simply..just like that
Some…you swallow
Words..emotions …

There’s a story
Always …

The fall

Laden with fruits, stained in colours
Autumn ~ a blushing Bride
Dance with me ~ a time of splendors
Sing thy songs in pride
Just peal on heel or sing and dance
Run for fun, squeal or hop or.prance
Just peal on heel
Just peal on heel
Sing,dance,hop,prance or be in trance.

Laden with fruits, stained in colours
Days of youth rise in mind
Singing in the trees, bird flutters
Slowly did she unwind
La ..La..La..La..La..We reap not
La..La..La.La..what we saw not
In a sweet chorus…well defined

Laden with fruits, stained in colours
Beneath a starlit sky
Winds whispering favorite numbers
Dews of night glorify
Kiss me Autumn , rustle your leaves
Hold me, wrap me, hide me in sheaves
Kiss me Autumn
Kiss me Autumn
My disappearance …. No one grieves …

I want a poem

You asked me of a poem
I offered you all my emptiness and melancholy
You sniffed out the quietness of the woods
And yelled out for a Poem.

I offered you my thighs and breasts
You chewed off its woody stem
You cry loud. “Damn, I want a poem”.

I tear open my wrists
My bleeding veins I offer you
Ink runs from the corners of your mouth

You belch  yet cry for more….

Why fret

More haters than lovers
In a family
Within a community,
A State
Between countries
On the whole..

The powerful kill the powerless
The one in power
Takes advantage

The rich do not like the rich
The poor are not good to the poor
The rich hate the poor
This is kaliyug
The poor envy the rich

Damn this world
Far from this madding crowd
Away and alone

“there is loneliness
In this world so great
That you can see it
In the slow movement
Of the hands of a clock”

Why fret!!
Why hate!!
Spread love and peace…

Love song

What Radha said ~

I was threading a string of pearls
You tossed jasmine buds my way
In those sidelong glances I caught your eye
You stole my heart, invaded my breast

A flush of joy in my heart’s home
You made gestures, I caught your hint
Your charm and visage, like a lamb I followed
A pleasurable mixture, I shiver with fear

My blouse you tore open, baring my pitchers
A spray of nail marks on my breasts

Roseate Sonnet, I write to garland thee, my Lord
Our fathomless love ~ tells a tale
Sari O’ mine flutters revealing great beauty
Erect hairs, drops of sweat drip with labor of love.

Footnote: this is a type of sonnet specially designed by Dr.Ampat Koshy..  one can find two quatrains and a couplet followed by a quatrain framing ROSE with its initial letters

Between the pages of poetry

September breeze
With a taste of rain in it
Lures me to write

Come, pick up all the letters
Littered here and there
Spread them on the white sheets
Hungry for
Screaming nouns
And laughing verbs…

Scatter the seeds of poetry
Scribble your own story..
On the white sheets
Stained with coffee and tears

September breeze
Blend with a drizzle
Lures me

I yearn to hear
The croaking frogs
And chirping crickets
Hey look!!
Magpie escapes from
My balcony..
Raindrops on wilting petals
Aaah!! It’s all poetry
Scribbles beautifully

September breeze
Lures me…

Choice is yours

Everything lies in us

Whether to choose success or failure

The way of life

Whether to stay happy or sad

Nothing can stop a man or a woman

Who simply refuses to be kept down

Decision must be made

From the centre of the heart

Irrespective of the outcome

Unmindful of the consequences

One should learn to keep walking

The authentic path and consistently

Stay true to shaping a

Remarkable life

A poem in the grave

Digging deep the poem,is the poet
Beneath tons of dirt
Beneath tons of heart
Lies covered the poem

Who buried it this deep, not known
Got to get out of the coffin
Digging days and nights
May, one day, bring it alive
At the touch of a breath

Digging the poem deep
When the casket lid gets opened
Every time from within
The cadaver that comes alive
Is the Poet himself…

Moved.. on

Moved out of my family out is better said
His stinging words ~stinking in my head
Moved out…to the end of my life
To end my life
None at my door behind
Stopping me. No kids he gave
All two decades, I washed his linen
Stinking.. Yes!!

Scorching sun above
Sucked all water ~ rivers and canals dry
Where shall I throw myself
Moved on
Destination unknown
Scared of shadows and darkness
Misty eyed..I moved on

Pages of future
Wrapped in blankness
No images.. No mirages
Emptiness touching me
From all corners
Afraid.. I moved on

My paces quickened
Ran against the wind
Into nothingness
Years of restrictions
Now, my legs ran
Yes..the freedom
I sensed
Ecstasy ~ Euphoria

Tears summed up
Over years of solitude
Cleansing my inner being..

I moved on
