A knock on the door of my heart

Knock knock! Hello am here,

Knocking on your heart! Beware!

I come to wreak havoc on your peace of mind,

Whether you mind or don’t mind.

Ever and anon will remind you of that ingratitude,

Which brought turmoil to you and servitude

On your knees to Chaos when you were basking in plenitude.

That heartbreak when your love turned venomous,

Stung you devastatingly, so disastrous!

But well, your human heart endowed with piety,

Saved you ultimately.

And that moment of jealousy

And accusation that sent you reeling,

With pain and torrents of tears blinding,

Again, you won by defeating,

Me though mayhem over mayhem

I brought you, do you remember them?

I shall knock again in your vulnerable moment

Have a respite till then, for come to you I will, I bet!

What a beautiful strong personification of the storm called love.I am into shortage of words to describe the effect and the merit. The poem deserves multi time reading…
