9/11:Hudson River Parenthesis

Silent ,

the waters lie undisturbed ,

and they

and they all ,

are gone forever

though their memory abides ,

and that is all

there is to say ,

for now ,

that their memory abides

and they are gone ,

and the waters

lie undisturbed now

and silent.

( see footnote to Hudson River Interlude for further elucidation)

Very poignant! When one is so awestruck & overwhelmed by grief ,as it was the case of 9/11 ,this is how one reacts _words become less & less as feelings take over-could one have done better than Louis Kasatkin ?
