The day fades into the west
Wearing saffron around its nakedness
But I wear colours
Over this bones and flesh
And I await at the shore
While it passes by, westward
Crossing the waters
Whose spirit is never-spent!
The night awaits behind the light
To tread the same path
Along there is this moon with its borrowed light
To flirt with those night blooms
And I await at the threshold
While it passes by, westward
Crossing the waters
Whose spirit is never-spent!
“I” am the only one who can be there
To see both – the “day” and “night” !
