Wind: Agent of Lord

The wind hugged me tight
took me in its lap
and fingered my nose
tickled in my nostrils
caressed both my cheeks
kissed my eye lashes
fanned up my hair strands
raised my dress’ edges
brought floral fragrance
I let it act free
Felt its friendly warmth
full of cheer, vigour

It reminded me that
it’s been always there
whether felt or not
through time infinite
caring and saving
as agent to Lord’s will
in creation, sustenance
and annihilation
