When we met…God

When we met,
We got new,
We got two view,
Two set of eyes,
Panoramically twined.

When we met,
Joys doubled,
Sorrows halved,
Healthier, wealthier,
Sickness got cure.

When we met,
New passions sprung,
New hobbies came,
Smarter, younger,
Dumbness got laughter.

When we met,
Two became one,
Loved conditionally,
And unconditionally,
Imperfectly, humanly,
All our flaws glowed.

When we met,
Clasped our souls,
Blessed it in bliss,
In forever company,
Just like heavens,
Intended it to be.

When we met,
God sat with us.
