We’ve been there with so much to spare
sharing each other all in life’s love and care
now leaving this heart in pain and despair
the warmth of that sweet caress
… your arms embrace
… your lips tenderness
the sweet and loving friend
… the thoughtful confident
… a shoulder to lean and cry on
but when love is gone
… you gave the reason not to be
… and just stop being there
I am lost, where no smiles in lips to glow
no more joy from this face will ever show
and on my path, flowers can never grow
when all its bliss starts slipping away
… from the hand that holds you near
… from the soul that trembles in fear
like those drizzle that comes falling
… with each thought, tears flowing
… till time has gone out of my sight
when you stop being my loving friend
… losing you in a mile though so near
… your whispers I could no longer hear
like a rose laid to wither, crushed and dies
no more sense to live in this world of lies
leave behind what is to last…when love is gone

A sense of loss ‘when love is gone’ is admirably captured in this work.
love is the life that keeps us moving…without love, nothing worthwhile ever exist to live for… lost!!! thank you dear Vijay Nair 🙂
