We people don’t talk

We people don’t talk,

We check our desires,

We people don’t talk,

We check on our fires,

We people don’t talk,

We judge a soul,

We people don’t talk,

We move towards some goal,

We people don’t talk,

We are busy for treasures,

We people don’t talk,

We take self judged measures,

We people don’t talk,

Yet we want to be loved & adored,

We people don’t talk,

Yet so easily we get bored,

We people don’t talk

But fight with umpteen zeal

We people don’t talk

Yet keep planning for unfair deal

We people don’t talk,

But blabber continuously to irritate,

We people don’t talk,

Keep secrets to gravitate,

We people don’t talk,

But we need a silent dumping space,

We people don’t talk,

Yet we bleed the tears of unknown race.

” We people don’t talk “,is a powerfully poetic critique and examination of the all pervading ennui and social estrangement that afflicts ever increasing numbers within our contemporary globalised society.
