I do not talk to people that often now;
Not because I have nothing you say.
But the voices in my head
Seem to take my time and thoughts.
Mostly I do not know who they are,
And sometimes I don’t understand;
But now and then I hear a voice,
I think is mine.
I often sing that old song
The one we recognised.
What do we talk about?
Oh, religion, war and sports,
Sometimes about the weather –
But mostly about you.
