Therapeutic Love

Therapeutic Love

My heart, once
bruised
broken
shattered
now daily feels
the halo-like light
of soft love

The warmth of
your muscular, masculine arms
knocks down
my self-built fortress
of alienation,
my illusive cocoon
of mental blocks

Your kisses
deep, passionate
now reassures me
that I can love again

And as we melt
in each other
smiles at us
perfect union,
perfect creation,
the expansion
of multi-dimensional creativity
leading to
our fruitful, healthy growth
as two writers.
