The wolf, creeps stealthfully as single-bladed reeds of
Wastelands, meadows call creatures wildly roam
Through dead of darkened skies, o’er guardian eclipsed
Moonlit planetary expansed spatial stars.
The wolf, long-haired whistled blown,
streaked twilighted silvery fur.

Nicely crafted ‘ The Wolf ‘ does as much justice to the wild predator as to the reader, perhaps the balance tilting to the latter .
” The Wolf ” , is a brilliantly concise work that infuses the reader’s imagination with a lingering sense of menace and mystery.
I love wolves….great poem.
