The void

The void
After your
Quick
Departure,
The insides
Looked like the
Public spaces
That glittered
During Ram Lila,
Navratri,
But—
Once the visiting gods
Left for their heavenly abode,
The same neon-lit places
Became barren,
Sad, and overwhelmingly
Desolate.
