The Turtle Butterfly

The butterfly of my dreams
escaped the corners of my eyes
and floated free in the vistas of the sky.
The lonely lanes of eyes stayed awake.
to catch the fragrance left behind.
It soared high and high,
leaving behind mine and my…
to be torn into shreds,
with nothing left bare threads
it found its way back,
gasping for breath,
to be buried into cemetry of my heart
and live in peace forever.
