If the whole expansive skies
Were to be impersonated in a man
Pray,
I do trust
He would be such a one
Able to contain me
And the mess that inhabits me!
If the whole expansive skies
Were to be impersonated in a man
Pray,
I would have made it the aim of my life
To search for him
Even if that would have required me to walk in marshes
To fight shadows and dragons
To cross deserts and forests
And even to loot and riot!
And when I would finally find him
Pray, I would grope on to his soul
By tying the arteries of my heart to his
By connecting our auras through the power of physical love
By chanting voodoo mantras to evoke in him,
The same swells that inhabit me!
By recounting our story to the whole world
By reminding him that our past lives are connected
To the one we shall live, someday, someplace
Which we shall call home
For there, we shall find our rightful place!
Why, if only the whole expansive skies
Were to be impersonated in a man!
A delightful poem revealing a vivid imagination.
sights and sigh are always sent upon the skies… would it understand the wants and the why’s of man? Then it shall be the skies’ in a personification… a nice thought though my friend… 🙂
An expansive and engaging work.
