The Roots that Behold

The feet trotting
Pushing and chasing
Dreams flying atop,
The godliness in thoughts
Prospering in values,
Aspiring high,
The deepened insight
Injected into
The tunes of life,
Vast greenery
Being spread,
Chopping down
What contaminates
And alkalizing
The blues to ripen
Bearing sweet goodness
Vow now
To spread delight
You carried from
The wisdom
Illuminated in you;
For Sure,
The peaks of glory
Will restrain
Under your feet;
Deep under in you
Is the strength of self
Entangled are
The lively roots
That’ll behold you.
